However she was able to patch herself up more while the others looked for fuel to burn the bodies, and she took some "research" samples. Our party headed back to Talgyth now that they had the samples the doctor wanted, and will soon learn about the town being surrounded.

The Zombies, used some unusual rudimentary flanking tactics and managed to knock her down to 0 flesh, triggering Bleeding and a Head Wound. She was able to staunch the bleeding while the Knight and Witch finished off the zombies. Unfortunately the concussion made it hard to remove the injury

We did our first combat last night in Black Death Rising, against a group of 4 zombies on the road leading out of town. The Knight, predictably, was fine if a bit inaccurate with his sword. The Witch stayed in the back and got some very good sling attacks in. Our poor Plague Doctor had a bad time

So the rats spoke up as a chorus of chittering voices saying they know many things! The Knight declared there must be devilry going on, which the rats vehemently denied, saying they were good Christians too. The Plague Doctor began a dialogue. The rats have information and will trade it for cheese.
