Post anzeigenI find the distinction between melodic and ambient music fascinating. Having spent the better part of half my life interacting with melody - I find melody vital to memorability. That said ambient music is crucial to latching onto a feeling. Ambiance is vital to mood setting.
Post anzeigenMelody tends to steal the show and while ear worms are extremely important to creating lasting musical impressions - ambience is equally as important if less “memorable” in it of its self. It exists with the gameplay world while melody will leave with you when the game is turned off. IMO.
Post anzeigenMy one complaint for this app is that people/dev teams/companies haven’t realized yet that X is a sinking ship since there’s still a bunch of eyes there. So there’s a sunk cost fallacy to move here and have to start over. So it’s not a complaint about blue sky but just in like:
