Otherwise my MGS, Persona 2, Xenogears, and SMT fic (made by an actual person, not AI) would have changed the results of the 2000s election, ended abelism and sanism overnight, stopped Gulf War 2 before it started, and made Bush Jr a one-termer.

Maybe it's just because I've been doing the fandom thing since I was actually 12 (I'm in my mid 40s now), but I learned looooong ago that fan works, while amazing, aren't so powerful they can single-handedly change the world in your image.

This is legit an example of the "everyone is 12" theory of analysis. They have the same mindset of somebody who just got into fandom and place an over-emphasis on the power of fanwork to change the world in their favor.

Otherwise, while I do think we need to finish Kait and company's story before too long with a true Gears 6...I would also not be at all opposed to just doing prequels filling in the 14 years between E-Day and the original GEARS OF WAR.

Finished GEARS OF WAR: E-DAY. A worthy new entry in the series. The Coalition doesn't miss, they know exactly what they're doing and Microsoft, at least for now, seems content to let them cook. I'd be very up for some campaign DLC.
