People really to learn what parasocial behavior is, not start rumors for clout points, nor stalk people's profile to find dirt. It gets exhausting after awhile and at some point, people will eventually get sick of it and fight back. Therapy has been helping me not be as affected by this anymore.

Therapists will tell you the difference between fiction and reality. And that obsessing over something out of your control isn't healthy. Just because something isn't for you doesn't mean you should impose your views onto others. Conflating the real deal with a drawing is a disservice to survivors.

It's really tiring having to see the same tiring thing over and over again when the same "this is sexually devious" thought is responsible for nsfw not being allowed to be sold anymore. The cycle of purity never ends. I just don't engage in stuff I don't care about.

The irony is that no one, including those who claim to be allies, wants to listen to survivors as soon as it goes against their own biases. The most recent example being Epstein being a meme and survivors being forgotten. We're just convenient pawns for narratives. It's a tough pill to swallow.

I just need people to realize artists are people too and not everything has to be a personal attack or twisted into a morality panic. I just got to take my therapist's advice and not let it get to me. They're just people on the net. But, it's tied to something very real I experienced for years.
