trust in the people deciding what's released and how it evolves is one of the most important factors a project ends up being widely adopted. about rebuilding being the most effective way to move ecosystems forward, sometimes it is needed, but incremental improvement is way more common

I can't believe that JavaScript libraries for the web still use `process.env.NODE_ENV` and just crash when run without a bundler. Bundlers truly rotted developer brains.

I left X and my 25K follower account after 9 porn bots liked one of my posts and no one else did. Realized all the engagement there is fake. Why would I let my mind be influenced by a bot farm manipulating an algorithm I don't control with a wealthy racist at the helm? Easiest decision of my life.
