Y'all, we absolutely got away with one for that penalty shout. No idea why VAR doesn't send Madley to the monitor. The appropriate response to everyone baying for blood is to shrug and say "Yeah, that happens," then sit back and enjoy their misery. Don't get pulled into meaningless whataboutisms.

Post anzeigenI think at the very least there’s no way that if VAR reviews that they don’t send him to the screen. And many refs might then say “there’s something there but it’s early, let’s go yellow”. Not Madley though, I think if he’s sent to the screen he lets VAR make the decision for him.
