re: switch 2 emulation, dumping, etc, this is a good view of it, and one reason why tcrf isn't allowing ripped Sw2 stuff at this time. in the past you'd get people coordinating on when to release things, how to do it, now it's a free-for-all to get it done first

the whole Switch 2 situation is rushed and is the first time we're seeing a largely clout-driven scene where overconfident idiots using models are doing everything fast to try to be First rather than people with half a brain thinking through the consequences and strategies to not piss big N off

it's more bad because of the lack of self-preservation skills on display. there isn't much "talent" to be burned coz le AI but anyone doing it is almost definitely going to be nuked immediately since we're post-DMCA and any further legal action risks setting precedent that makes Sony v Bleem moot
