  Then around Christmas time there was Saturnalia. A Roman festival held in mid-December dedicated to the god Saturn, known for feasting, drinking, gift-giving, and social merry-making that influenced later holiday customs. Great race the Romans!🍾🥳🎁 The Saxons turned up it was Yule & log burning.🪵🔥🙄
