Oh man! This is sad. Salon was one of the first news websites I read regularly, including everything Glenn Greenwald wrote there (it was a long time ago, folks). It will be missed.

College professor, sat around and had us do readings for homework and then "teaching" them to the class (for half an hour each) rather than teach. The other person didn't show up. I crushed it for the full hour, had notes and a worksheet for them. For the first time people stayed after to talk.

We were ghosted by our own troop. My brother and I were like 4-5 & 7-8 respectively. Needless to say, we left that troop shortly after. At least we were welcome in our sister's Girl Scouts troop as supporters and volunteers. (I wouldn't say it filled me with rage, but it was still a dick move imo.)

Me and I believe my younger brother were in Tiger Scouts. We were new. We were told we had a get together with the rest of the troop at our local elementary school. The two of us and my mom showed up... no one was there. Apparently, it was cancelled or reschedule, but we never got the message.
