  Super day @flamboroughbird.bsky.social with @duncbye.bsky.social, finding a Dusky Warbler at North Marsh, having seen one earlier at Old Fall. Dunc refound the Hume's Warbler, which hadn't been seen all morning, and it performed beautifully. Also, 15+ Mealy Redpolls, Twite, 2 Woodcock & a Firecrest.

  Feels like Autumn has finally arrived on patch this week with Whoopers, large skiens of Pink-footed geese, Redwings, Blackbirds, 8 Bullfinchs, increased numbers of Chaffinchs+Pied wags and on Tuesday 100+ Fieldfare feeding up. Also 20+ Yellowhammers and a few Tree sparrows. @yorkbirding.bsky.social

  A single Waxwing was a nice surprise at Hawkswick Moor YWT, nr Arncliffe this morning. It was watched flycatching from the treetops. Also,800+ Fieldfares, 200+ Redwings. @northyorksbirds.bsky.social
