Hey so, just a heads up to anyone who cares? Alt Text is 1000% scraped by AI. Googling one of my OC's names brings this up, and a little digging reveals it's because I put Alt Text on the proxy magic card describing what it was. If you don't want your shit contributing to AI do not use Alt Text.
Post anzeigenFucking called it. It was never about accessibility, that was just exploiting people's goodwill to label an image dataset. The worst part of this is that alt text IS extremely helpful as an accessibility tool, so thanks for eroding trust in it, Bluesky.
