Decorated pipe bonanza: very occasionally I'm in the right place at the right time. On this occasion, it was an extra-low tide, I was at a pipey patch, and I had it all to myself! Six decorated pipes in one day might be a record for me though. I'll show them here individually in later posts...

I wasn't initially sure what this beautifully stripy but irregularly-shaped glass chunk was, but it probably is indeed an old German marble, but with its outer layer knocked off!
Post anzeigen3/3: The other was lying on the surface, but broken and badly stained. My last post here about pipe finds shows a similar coincidence - in which I found two pipes of the same grapevine design on the same day (though one of them just a fragment.)
