That’s ok - we don’t have to agree on everything. Benefits of not being in a cult like the GOP! I’m willing to give Jeffries a shot to prove himself, though. The way I see it: whoever gets the gavel, as long as they focus on affordability and holding Trump accountable, we’ll be ok.

I’ve been very critical of Schumer over the years, but credit where it’s due: he personally recruited Cooper, Brown, and Peltola. Would still rather see a different majority leader, but he did good work. I think Jeffries is going to surprise a lot of people as the FIRST Black Speaker, though.
