Show PostBreakfasting in a farm shop in North Cornwall on our way home from a week at Porthgwarra. Phenomenal north-easterly passage of Redwings now under way - must be 10s of 1,000s. Show PostA few moths to the MV last night in Cromford: Merveille du Jour, Feathered Thorn, Red-green Carpet, Common Marbled Carpet, Epirrita agg, Crocidosema plebejana. #TeamMoth The rather nice Sermylassa halensis beetle on Middleton Moor this afternoon.
Show Post4/4 again last night #teamMoth, Black Rus and Merv again, but other two different from previous session - White-point and Large Wainscot. I knew it was Lge W, but did an ObsID, which reckoned it was actually a Woolly Mammoth, but only with 28% certainty...or 10% certainty that it's a beaver
Show PostBeaded Chestnut. Has a southerly distribution in Glamorgan, and this was only the third for Cardiff garden. #MothsMatter #TeamMoth
