The natural world, animals & the arts both ground and lift me. Horrified by so much of today’s politics. Writing these kind of profiles does not come naturally…#FBPE

Earl Spencer short of money he's this desperate to drag Diana's memory through the dirt?
Show Post
So Earl Spencer claimed the then Prince Charles told him “Diana will be forgotten soon enough” a few days after her funeral. Earl Spencer said this IN A SERIALISED BOOK ON THE DAILY MAIL. No, the money isn’t going to charity as far as I understand.

Not really into Royal Family soap operas, but I find it vanishingly unlikely that the King would tell Earl Spencer in 1997 that Princess Diana would 'soon be forgotten' & Spencer would keep schtum about that for nearly 3 decades But, hey. Book to sell...

Not sure old Earl Spencer should be talking about other people’s personal lives.

The fact that Earl Spencer sold his book to the Daily Mail speaks volumes.
