something sparks in steve's brain. fizzes bright and yellow and before he can grasp it, slips away. he pauses, frowning. looks sidelong at eddie because really, what the fuck, but eddie's opening his mouth again: "well whatever it's been for you, trust me when i say it's been longer for me."
