My best of the day was blundering into a 5 mile long park that runs from Northfield to I-35 that I have never heard of despite living here off and on for forty years. It runs along a creek in a maybe 50yd-wide ravine that you can’t see from road- or cornfield-level. It was a lot like finding Narnia.

This abomination was Marcel’s favorite toy. I called him Nathaniel Cornfellow. Marcel played and played with him until he was torn into pieces. Fortunately I saved those pieces and as a surprise for Marcel’s adoption day I have brought Nathaniel back from the dead, fixed and reinforced. 🌽

We already have flying cars. They're called helicopters. They're really expensive and there are good reasons you have to have a pilot license and work with air traffic control to fly them. Putting jets on a sedan is not going to result in a better vehicle or transportation experience in any way.
