Me personally, I'm assuming they mean Gen AI because idk what else this would mean, and if they didn't mean Gen AI then I feel like they'd wanna say upfront "hey we hate slop" But then again this is Sony, a company that would drown if it started to rain.

On one hand, benefit of the doubt can be given because nothing here explicitly says they're using or going to use GenAI. On the other, it's Sony, and they're hell bent on making this the Sony Century of Humiliation, so come back to this post in a month or two and we'll see what they meant by this.
