The No Kings Instagram account is now back up. I suspect the deletion was the result of traffic and algorithmic nonsense or something of the sort. Either way, this was NOT a false alarm. When fascist platforms take down our accounts for ANY reason, it's cause for sounding the alarm.

Yes and beyond the mechanical view of the system, there are the psychological aspects to consider, i.e., the incentive model. Everyone participating is the best incentive model for the program's longevity.

As an engineer, I have to say that sometimes a convoluted-sounding solution is sometimes in practice the most elegant and least error-prone. Not saying that's the case here, just saying this conversation reminds me of work.
