  No need to answer this, but my thoughts about this are : I don’t know how this works, but I’m assuming you guys get paid something to do this. And did they put in the contract that they were allowed to use it forever without paying you for each use? Seems to be not right.

  Love it! My slightly more practical suggestion would be to rebuild Greenwich Observatory half the width of Britain to the west of where it is, thus removing the need for daylight saving in the UK entirely. As with all great British innovations, the rest of the world can just deal with it! 😉

  FUN FACT: the Monopolies and Mergers Commission was once two bodies: the Monopolies Commission and the Mergers Commission. After merging into the Monopolies and Mergers Commission, its first task was to adjudicate on whether the new Monopolies and Mergers Commission was a monopoly. Its verdict? Nah.
