This is also why I hate Jon Hamm. He beat and tortured a freshman in the process of hazing that included dragging him around by his genitals that were looped around the claw of a hammer. The pledge suffered severe injuries and dropped out of school. I can’t get over that

you seem to be conflating america the empire with america the place. I hate that this country is doing horrible things, I want to make it *not* do horrible things, I want to make it a country (or set of countries) worth actually being proud of, and that will require a *lot* of change
