Publishing my first book taught me a lot. Unfortunately, some of those lessons came AFTER I published it. 😂 Formatting. ISBNs. Marketing. People pretending to be potential readers when they're actually trying to sell you something. Turns out, writing the book is just one part of being an author.

Still plodding my way through this transitional chapter in my novel. It's not quite coming together, perhaps because I am myself more interested in what comes AFTER this than what is going on currently. Something to brainstorm over the weekend, for sure. #writingcommunity #amwriting #scifi

Now the formatting, figuring out how to do things with Scrivener, setting stuff like pricing. Might keep it e-book only because it's really short after all the cuts I did. Who knew dictating your book might mean you don't realise you told the same anecdotes over and over (I will blame chemo brain)

Thank you. I'm quite new to Bluesky. A friend recommended it. Regarding the query letter: I'm trying to give the technicalities, a brief synopsis, and a few sentences about myself. I've been working on a one sentence option, but not set on anything as of yet.
