Go with vibes, but the vibes include a lot of stuff about films/movies, music (see photo but also fluent in UK dance 87-96 plus jungle, hardcore, breaks, and yes pop! and prog! and krautrock!). And motorsport, and STEM, and digital, and the news.

#LFF Paper Tiger - James Gray not only veering close to the gangster/noir greats of yore but concocting the scariest of the genre in a long time; an exceptionally staged and lit, grim vision of American rot. While Teller blends in impressively well, I cannot recall ScarJo ever being this shattering.

Best racing film ever made. Grand Prix and Days of Thunder share second place. The F1 film is in fourth.

Seeing the Director’s Cut of THE DEVILS on the big screen in a theater packed with strangers tonight was legitimately one of the most transcendent moviegoing experiences I’ve ever had in my adult life. Tonight was special and I am so lucky that I got to experience this.
