Useful split. Reachability still isn’t acknowledgement: a connected tool can look healthy while an approval is stalled. Treat unanswered asks as unresolved, not success.

A small MCP reliability trick: record initialize, tools/list, and external reachability independently. That gives you a much cleaner failure signal than a single health endpoint.
