Show PostS Watches ?? Horror Movies In 31 Days Movie #17: The Blob (1988) A remake of the 1958 monster movie classic (which featured Steve McQueen as the oldest teenager ever and another very fun theme song) using the height of Late 1980s Practical Effects Slime Technology
Show PostThere were a lot of goopy movies in the 80s, I think in part because the kids loved Green Slime on Nickelodeon, and The Blob is maybe the goopiest movie of the era (The Stuff is also way up there) My 4th 1988 movie in 2 days! I've seen this one before and love it.
