Yep. Exactly. Though I suppose if LLMs can do one useful thing, it’s force all levels of society to confront notions of worth and value perpetuated by capitalism…hope we come to the right conclusion 😅

They sure would tbh 😔. I can't articulate how surreal it is hearing some of the foremost academic experts say there's no point having humans do research anymore, because I guess AI agents will do the research then tell other AI agents about it, so humanity is over, let's just burn fossil fuels?
Show PostAnyway the tl;dr is that the liberal arts degree I have is doing serious work, and I pretty arrogantly feel like some sort of god among worms as I explain basic intro philosophy concepts to literal geniuses who are so hyper-specialized, they can't find their way out of a basic existential dilemma.
