Sound familiar? • Faster iteration • Fewer humans → higher risk of failure • Limited applicability Auto belayers (ahem, AI) are great tools — but there are still many reasons to keep humans in the loop. Not taking over everything… yet.

The tradeoffs? Faster iteration, but less safety redundancy and less social interaction. No second human to double-check or brainstorm with. Also: limited environments - indoor gyms, preset routes, not outdoors.
