I can't do focused work or reading if there's music with lyrics playing. And unfortunately the Apple Mac tools for creating playlists and stuff aren't smart enough to build a playlist of "instrumental" or anything like it I could find, so "jazz or classical" is as close as I could get.

Show PostI think the Zoox cars are kind of cute, but they're still driverless robocars, so they wouldn't be spending time in your driveway even if you hire them a lot. (I live near enough to Google that herds of Waymos and a few competitors wander around here.)
Show PostIt's actually nonsense because a compiler isn't trying to approximate machine code from higher lever instructions. It's a deterministic process with direct translations. If the compiler has a bug it's one thing, but at least two people will get the same outputs from the same inputs.
Show PostTo grow the ATproto network, Bluesky has to grow a lot more. If Bluesky doesn't grow, it's just gonna disappear. It's not like Mastodon, which is perfectly happy to stay small. If Bluesky doesn't grow, it is going to die alongside the network.
