To me this data make a distributed, brain-wide predictive-processing architecture substantially more plausible than the entirely cortical model most often discussed/pursued. I think the cerebellum is a strong candidate for providing part of what the cortical circuit seems unable to generate locally

Yes, if consolidation was complete already, hibernation presents less of an issue. The question remains exactly when after learning memories are consolidated. You'd want to record throughout learning, hibernation, and recall. This is what I'm doing now.
