This was John Belcher's design for Cambridge Guildhall back in the late 1890s from the Cambridgeshire Collection. The Cambridge Liberals tried twice to get it built but couldn't get it past Conservative opponents. lostcambridge.wordpress.com/2020/05/04/h...

Thank you for spotting the mosaics, they are one of the joys of 60s/70s buildings and when people complain about all the grey concrete of brutalism the mosaics are rarely mentioned. Park Hill has a few left.
