I was surprised to see Scott at this event when his government was about to confirm that some of the people there would have to wait up to 30 years for settled status How do you tell people who risked their lives to come to this country that they must be punished to placate far right racists?
Postu gösterApropos of nothing, I saw those handsome chaps from the Friends of Lanark Road have put in a rare but heartwarming appearance
Postu gösterI’ve been getting on a lot better since I decided to give up on it (advocacy but also the local area in general). But there’s a final trap! As your kids grow up, do you send them to the same ultimate fate? Or do you go motonormative and become that which you initially hated? The humanity!
Postu gösterA problem with cycling is that it exposes you to being deliberately endangered by people who live around you then destroys your faith in police/justice system too. Intensely exposes gaslighting officials/politicians + local NIMBYs. For me, it completely severed sense of community / civic engagement.
Postu gösterProtestors gathered outside BBC Scotland HQ tonight to protest the deaths of journalists killed in Palestine in the past three years👆
