For me it was probably the original arcade Space Invaders ( Taito ) then Asteroids and Pac-Man. So, that's ROM based, like a cartridge. Then Adventure, Combat and Space Invaders on an Atari 2600. Cassette tapes came along with home computers. I do remember loading up CBM PET Invaders from tape.
