I think we really stepped over this line when E33 got to pretend to a smol lil indie game and not a game that like 400+ people worked on.

i judge for a few festivals, and i can safely say that the games that always stand out the most are ones with personal creative care taken in every aspect of the game. people say AI should replace this but you can’t automate intentionality or love. if you bank on that then you don’t understand art.
