I've worked in libraries for 9 years, and I've lost count of the number of times patrons have asked "can I play this with my kid?" and I flip it over to see if there's couch co-op. Of course, that won't matter because if there's no actual discs, there's nothing for libraries to loan. 🤷‍♂️

physical back covers are so important for the shopping experience. unlike digital where you will either have to look up said info or go through a series of menu, it is so convenient to just turn the case around and wow look at that, local co-op 1-4 players
