As an aside, rice apparently doesn't do anything meaningful. Stick it on the radiator. Dont turn it on until it is reasonably dry. Monday!

48 hours at least. Depends on ambient temperature and humidity as well as how deeply the water penetrated. If you have spare packets of a desiccant like silica gel, toss those in the bowl.
