i don't know overall in this situation, a couple of other people in office/social group have been defrauded themselves & have been very open about it & their own fears/shame seeing/hearing that from peers, as well as the supportive response from the people around them, reduces embarrassment

part of the appeal of this service in this case was that it did NOT require family members to help the scammed but competent adult handled it w with agency assistance no adult kids have been sighing heavily & lecturing them
