I traveled (from SK) thru the Atlantic provinces about five years ago, and then never left. There is *definitely* a NFLD accent. And a NS accent. I swear my tiny community of 25 people has its own accent.

And the CEO Lourenco Goncalves enthusiastically supported the 50% tariff on Canadian steel. Makes me wonder if the plan all along was to grenade Stelco to get rid of a market rival for US steel. 🤷♀️

The agreement approval was granted with legally binding 5-year commitments, which required to maintain HO operations in Hamilton, keep the Stelco name, and preserve unionized and non-unionized employment levels. The mistake was trusting a Trump loyal supporter. Joly has the balls to played hard.
