Just saw a post describing Marcus Aurelius as "the best Christian ever". Aurelius was 1 of the most actively persecuting Roman emperors ever, but his son Commodus -yes, the Gladiator villain- contrasted notably for his mercy towards Christians, prob influenced by his freedwoman concubine Marcia.

I can think of millions of jobs we'd be happy to have more of: caterers, interior designers and their carpenters and painters, tailors, gardeners, laundries, disability aides. Cities could hire more people to fill potholes, guard playgrounds, do concerts, DJ dances, lead tai chi in the park....
