I don't think he's going to lose. There are a lot of Tommy's in Michigan, mostly in the triangle of swampland bounded by Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, and Benton Harbor, but they're a tiny minority of the state. The issue for Democrats there has been a lack of enthusiasm. Abdul is on fire, though.

The MOAB (Massive Ordnance Air Blast, AKA Mother of All Bombs) is just a very big conventional explosive. There's nothing it can do to Iran that other conventional bombs can't, except more collateral damage. Yet again, the White House's idea is to say something they think sounds cool, to no effect.
