This reminds me how in the PCUSA we have a tendency to say, instead, "The Cup of Salvation" and I find that so odd, when the Sacramental element is not the CUP but the WINE / BLOOD. So I find myself defaulting to my Methodist upbringing: "The Blood of Christ, poured out for you / for your sins."

my favorite is "the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ keep you in everlasting life" but being honored to say either sentence and see a glimpse of the way our Lord shows up for people is always such a gift
