And I do get it's delicate! Everyone outside of Bruno and Griff—AFAWK—have kids, so if they all were impacted every time there was a case with kids, it would be a lot. Personally, it bothered me most in 26 when there were multiple teen/relevant cases in a row and she said zilch. It's odd. 🫤

Right. And the way the episodes are formatted now—taking place over about a week of time—we're seeing how her weekends are often spent at the office. We're seeing her be the one to answer the middle of the night calls. And she doesn't have a co-parent to help with the caretaking.

It’s so bizzare because they spent the first 16 years making one of the central things about her character that she wanted to be a mom and instead of showing us how cases impact her differently now that she’s a mom (like they always did with Elliot’s family) they act like that just doesn’t matter
