This was my favorite Godzilla movie for a long time. Upon rewatching Godzilla vs Hedorah a number of years ago it over took this one. Although this movie has action and time travel, Hedorah is trippy and tries doing something new (warnings of environmental destruction).

Honestly, I legit disagree and think this adaptation is harmless at worst. It felt campy and silly in the same way the games are and I enjoyed the movie more as a casual and it even has solid substance despite being B-movie cheesy by honing in on Ryu and Ken's growth despite the new interpretations.

At the very least, the guys behind this new Street Fighter movie know their audience.

The real fun is going to be when they finally do make a new Friday the 13th movie and it has zero ties to this new series' storyline. Because then the Crystal Lake fans will get their opportunity to scream, "What is this garbage? Why did they ruin the lore? This sucks!"
