I think they do live right across the street from each other! If she wanted to stumble home, she definitely could haha. I'm sure Jai is also confused as to why Cordie didn't tell him she was going to a party, but I find it odd that he sees her as so naive yet somehow mature enough to date

It's unfortunate that Cordie is drunk because it sorta does prove Jai right in his anxiety that she's in trouble, but I think it's wild that he assumes she HAS to be in trouble because she's at a party of people he doesn't like (meanwhile it's a family who her family has been friends with forever)
