How so? How does recent history suggest that harm mitigation is a bad voting strategy? On the contrary, I would say that our current mess proves that harm mitigation, even if not ideal, *is* better than the alternative, and thus a good voting strategy at least in the short term.

Yes, as I said. That's part of why Newsom is a horrible pick for the Dem candidate (as that affects the platform), but would nevertheless be worth voting for anyway in the general in swing states (as that's voting strategy, not platform).

You don’t report on something unless you have multiple sources if you want to do good journalism. It can only be true with verification, multiple sources, and reaching out for comment to all parties involved. If you don’t have that when posting a story on your website, you’re making stuff up.
