From what I've seen from people, flirting comes down to two things: confidence in yourself and the person they're doing it with. Flirting only works when people are open to the idea of it, just like with giving help. If they don't want it, they won't take it. Basically, look out for the chill ones~

flirting with people is just universally embarrassing no matter what. went up to a dude at the bar (as a 5 foot tall very feminine presenting person) and told him he's really hot. and he looked so upset he was like "nah I have a girlfriend 🫤" had to just go "all good just wanted to let u know"
