I don't think cis people understand how stressful it is to be trans, especially as a public figure. We gotta deal with transphobia of all kinds, sometimes by our own colleagues, and are expected to just take it all with a smile as fighting back in any way is seen as "being difficult."

Trans people get called extremists for saying “hey don’t watch a wizard tv show.” Meanwhile people out here literally calling for legislative bans on our existence are propped up as feminist icons. Really just shows how those who make people uncomfortable or disrupt consumption are vilified.
