Dishwasher at a seafood restaurant. I lasted one night. When the restaurant closed, we still had an hour of cleanup, and I was already beat. The work was just too hard, and I was young and in shape, too.

17yrs old, 1 week in KFC when I kept confusing the drive thru BEEPS with the "fries are done" BEEPS and repeatedly failed to call a chicken breast, KEEL. Yes, keel. This was in Idaho. Cant say breast in Idaho.

It happened in the 80s, too. The bar where I worked fired servers on their 89th day because they became eligible for benefits after 90 days. We used to have a “retirement” party for them and that really pissed off the manager. He couldn’t believe a bunch of dumb girls figured out his BS.
