I have gotten to the end of the qualifier in Galactic Racer and lost twice not because I raced poorly but because my vehicle wasn't fast enough since I don't have enough between-run upgrades. Feels pretty bad in arcade racer, I have to say. This would be a lot better if it wasn't a roguelike.
