I first replaced with a Dedica for the size and price combo (was not ready to have to replace something after spending so much recently), then upgraded to the Bambino Plus. Does all I need and more. Currently got the cheap burr grinder below (see alt text on image).

With proper care they last a really long time. I am impressed with this one.

I won't do that anymore. Spent a fortune on a do all coffee machine only for the grinder to break and send something through one of the water hoses inside the machine. Now it's small but mighty espresso machine and separate grinder. Same philosophy as smart TVs with set top boxes.
