May I suggest instead of swearing off anyone who voted differently from you that we learn to listen to understand and extend our humanity instead of becoming and creating the enemy. The division is what got us here and the division will keep us all down (and it’s exactly what powerful people want).

I had someone confide in me the other night that they voted for Trump and were afraid to tell people for fear they would be hated or harmed. Funny thing is, I voted for Kamala and felt exactly the same fear. We talked about news, messaging, and how language influences us. It was a good moment.
